It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of two members of the Loving Food Resources community.

LFR Executive Director, Brent Wyatt, passed away on August 3rd. For 7 years, Brent led LFR with compassion and dedication, helping ensure that members of the community had a safe and reliable place to turn. We also mourn the loss of board member and longtime volunteer Warren Fluharty.

Brent and Warren's family invite you to join in remembering them on Thursday, August 20, 2026 from 5:30-7:30pm at the Kenilworth Center (4 Chiles Ave).

Thank you to Fox Point Lutheran Youth Group for taking a day from their trip to Asheville to volunteer at the pantry. The group did a deep clean of the pantry. We are appreciative of their hard work.
