Bunch of pics here highlighting the good work of our Trades Academy trainees, and our employer partners. Some shots of interview sessions, also our solar trainees finishing their first job with SolFarm Solar Co. Thanks also to YMI, AB Tech, JM Leadership, Umoja Health and Wellness, Haynes Electric, and TP Howard's Plumbing, for their partnership and support of the Academy.

Hi all, we're sharing this opportunity from two of our partners, Green Built Alliance and Asheville Housing Authority.

The Housing Authority of Asheville (HACA) has hired Energy Savers Network for the next two months as a pilot program that may open up the door to more units with them in the future. It will be quick easy work:

Trades Academy moves into Day 3 today. Our group has already made great strides...goal-setting, personal mission statements, career assessments, workplaces safety (OSHA) classes, leadership training, and discussions around greatness and persistence. Excited to finish the week with resume and cover letter work with AB Tech, mock interviews with employers, and wellness recovery action planning with our friends at Umoja. Thanks to JM Leadership, Naber Consulting, Southside Kitchen, Bruce Browder, YMI/Operation Gateway, Philip Cooper, GO Staff, and Dogwood Health Trust for supporting this effort.

GO is back!

We are excited to restart training, in partnership with the YMI, when we launch our Trades Academy on Monday, the 26th.

You’ll see frequent updates on this cohort over the next few days. We are fortunate, through a grant from Dogwood Health, to be able to pour into this group and prepare them for a career over the next weeks.

Big shoutout to our friends at Southside Kitchen, who will be donating lunches to Academy participants next week.

We are fortunate to have the community rally to support these training members!
