Hands & Feet of Asheville Young adult service corps in WNC making a difference at the intersection of faith, service, and justice.

Hands and Feet of Asheville is a year long, progressive, Ecumenical Christian service program for young adults to pursue their passions, serve others, build community, and explore faith. Throughout the year, participants clarify their own sense of meaning and purpose and discern their sense of call through direct service at a local non-profit, living in intentional community, and reflecting on the

ir experiences. Volunteers leave the year with concrete skills and inspiration for a lifetime of caring.

Hands and Feet of Asheville is bidding farewell to the fellows of the class of 2025-2026! 🎉

Fellows brought gifts of storytelling, disaster recovery, construction ministry, sociology, public policy and more to nonprofit organizations across Western North Carolina. Their work contributed to housing justice, education, environmental resilience, community healing, and equity work throughout the region. 👏

Join us on Friday, July 24, at 6 p.m. for our End of Program Year celebration! Fellows will share reflections from their time with HFA as they prepare to take their next steps. Dinner is potluck-style with BBQ proteins provided by HFA from a local restaurant. Please RSVP at the link below by Wednesday, July 22 with any dietary restrictions and what you plan to bring, if you are able. All are welcome!

Meet Marisa! She is placed with Habitat for Humanity’s Home Repair organization this year, helping many folks around WNC repair damage from Hurricane Helene. Marisa graduated from UNC Chapel Hill (class of ‘25!) with degrees in Sociology and Religious Studies. She loves music and spending as much time outside as she can!
