Western Carolina University MAcc Program Our degree prepares students for careers in public accounting, industry, government, and non-profit, as well as the requirements for CPA licensing.

The Master of Accountancy degree is designed to provide students with the necessary foundation for successful careers in public accounting, industry, government, and not-for-profit institutions. It prepares students to meet the AICPA and state board 150-hour requirement for licensure as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). We are part of WCU Programs at Biltmore Park, located in Asheville, North C

arolina. You can complete the MAcc degree by attending courses part-time or full-time. Full time enrolled students can complete the program in one year. Prerequisites are required. This page includes important updates as well as information that may be of interest to current and prospective students, and alumni of our program. Applicants for 2020 summer and fall semesters may be conditionally admitted without GMAT scores. GMAC will eventually be moving to remote test-taking (mid-April?) but don't let that delay your application. WCU may be able to defer the requirement or waive it completely based upon past academic performance. Contact us for further information.
