Ideas of programming are walk or bike to school days, Storybook trail installations, school-wide active living challenges, pop-up bike parks, safety education, curriculum enhancements, or even just to have our staff available for tabling. Henderson County we are starting with you for our first Summer Stroll Community Walk of the season. Join us in two weeks for a casual meet up. Let's support a local coffee shop and go for a short walk on the Ecusta trail together. All are welcome! We will start the walk at 8:30 am and hang around at your leisure afterward. Swag bags provided for grade school aged participants.

Start your Wednesday with coffee and community! Join the Safe Routes to School team for a weekly morning walk from a coffee shop near you. We'll stretch our legs, meet our neighbors, and return in time for a post-walk sip and chat.

All are welcome—bring your stroller, your thermos, or just yourself. No cost, no registration, just community connection and a little movement to start your day right.

Luke is not only celebrating this, he is also getting ready to make the jump into middle school next year.
