WIN A RIDE TO SCHOOL IN A FIRE TRUCK
Children of Ashfield & Plainfield that will be attending Sanderson Academy or Mohawk in the fall of 2026 can win a ride to school on their first day!
Kids, if you can guess the amount of individual candy pieces in our jar at the Summer Kickoff Party, you could be our winner (closest number guess wins).
We will pick 2 winners, one from Plainfield and one from Ashfield. Plainfield Fire will bring a Plainfield kid to school, Ashfield Fire will bring an Ashfield kid to school!

Today’s brush fire on John Ford Road.

A brush fire caused by a downed power line in Ashfield results in the loss of a wood shed. No injuries were reported.

Ashfield Fire along with dozens of mutual aid assets are working on scene of a large brush fire that has involved small structures as well.
Please allow our responders the space they need to work. This is a very narrow road in a remote part of town. STAY CLEAR OF THE AREA.
