All summer you’ve probably been watching the installation of the new oil tank at the school. It is completed, and the cost is almost $100,000 LESS than the original estimate. Way to go Bill Falletti! Also, the new generator installation is on schedule and contractors are bidding on replacing the roof. The town anticipates state reimbursement of about 65% of the cost of the new roof.

New transfer station stickers are expected by October 1. They will be available for pick-up at the Selectman’s Office or the new kiosk in the entrance to the transfer station. Watch the Ashford Citizen
for announcements.

A new deadline is in effect to submit articles for the Ashford Citizen. Plan on getting your articles to Colleen DePercio at Town Hall by the 15th of the month.
