Did you know that smoke alarms expire? Most alarms have a lifespan of 10 years. Take the time now to check your smoke alarms. Check the batteries and also the expiration date.

Ashland City Fire Department participates with the State Fire Marshal's Office "Get Alarmed" program and can replace battery-powered alarms for free. Contact us at 615-792-4531 if you need new alarms.

An Awards luncheon was held last week and the Ashland City Fire Department received a $35,130 Volunteer Firefighter Equipment and Training Grant from the Tennessee State Fire Marshal's Office.

This competitive grant program provides funding to help fire departments purchase equipment that enhances firefighter safety and improves emergency response capabilities.
This funding will allow our department to purchase essential firefighter safety equipment, helping us better protect both our personnel and the community we proudly serve.
