Ashland residents of Ward 2,
As you may know, there is currently no alderman/alderwoman candidate listed on the ballot to represent Ward 2 in tomorrow’s election. As a result, voters have the option to submit a write-in candidate.
One potential write-in candidate is Mikayla Turner. She is a local entrepreneur and small business owner in Ashland. Mikayla is also a parent—her daughter, Harper, attends Southern Boone Primary.
Mikayla has indicated that she is willing to serve as alderwoman if elected through write-in votes. Residents who wish to support her may write in her name on the ballot.
