Ashland Cares, Inc. Homeless Advocacy and Support - Nonprofit - Licensed 501(c)3 WE are a helping organization. We’re 100% volunteer operated. Nobody gets paid. It’s a symptom.

We are community based. Meaning we can take advantage of all the amazing agencies, services, churches, organizations and individuals we currently have in the area as well as call on our communities for donations …. That in turn will be put right back into our communities. Homelessness – it’s not a crime. Trying to end homelessness by attacking ONLY homelessness is like trying to cure the flu by bl

owing your nose. That’s why we need community support. It’s the community - as a whole - that can offer a cure. With supportive services from local agencies and organizations, we can help cure homelessness. The need for a community shelter is great. There is a growing LOCAL homeless population. They are our friends, our family, and our neighbors. Adults and children. They are cold, they are hungry. They have no alternatives. Our goal – Our Mission – is to give them that alternative. To give them shelter.
