❤️ A BIG thank you to Peace Lutheran Church! ❤️

We want to take a moment to give a very special thank you to Peace Lutheran Church for opening their doors and welcoming us for our rummage sale.

From the very beginning, they have been willing to help in whatever capacity was needed, and their kindness, generosity, and willingness to support the Ashland Cancer Association truly means so much to us.

There really aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are for everything they have done. Opening your doors to us was more than just providing a space — it was showing up for our organization and for the families we serve. That kind of support is what makes our community so special. ❤️

Thank you, Peace Lutheran Church, for being there for us and for being such an incredible community partner. We are truly grateful for you! 🙏❤️

-172 people utilized our food pantry 🥫
-$106,731 in client needs covered 💗
-244 volunteers 🙌
-4,280 volunteer hours given⏰

These numbers represent more than statistics—they represent real people, real needs, and a community that continues to show up for one another.

Today we had a truly special time celebrating Chloe, our summer intern supported through a grant from the Community Foundation, Ashland Chamber, and United Way. 💛

From her very first day, Chloe made an immediate impact—always ready to jump in wherever she was needed. Whether she was supporting social media, helping clients, or stepping up in the moment, she led with heart, enthusiasm, and her signature “I’m your girl” spirit.

We are so incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and kindness she brought to our team. Chloe, you will be deeply missed, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things your future holds.❤️😊

The Ashland County Cancer Association is getting ready for our annual Taste of Ashland, happening Thursday, November 5, 2026 — and we’re looking for donations to help fill our raffle baskets!

❤️ Cancer doesn’t discriminate by age, and its impact reaches far beyond the person receiving the diagnosis.

Right now, a local family is facing an incredibly difficult time. A local parent of three is facing a diagnosis that has brought an unimaginable amount of uncertainty to their family. During this difficult season, we would love to come alongside them and provide some extra support.

First and foremost, we are asking for prayers for this family. 🙏 Please keep this parent and their three children in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this difficult journey.

With the new school year approaching, we would love to help make things a little easier for the kids. We are looking for NEW clothing and shoes for all three children:

👦 Boy: Clothing size 6 | Shoe size 12
👦 Boy: Clothing size 7 | Shoe size 13
👧 Girl: Clothing size 8 | Shoe size 1

We are also accepting gas gift cards to help with transportation and ALDI grocery gift cards to help with groceries and everyday needs.

If you feel called to help, have some fun shopping and help us make the start of this school year a little brighter for these kiddos. 🛍️❤️ Donations can be dropped off at our office.

We may not be able to change what this family is facing, but we can surround them with kindness, support, and love along the way. Every prayer, donation, and act of kindness can make a difference.

We are so excited to welcome Nancy to the Ashland County Cancer Association family! 💗 Nancy is a brand-new volunteer driver who has chosen to give her time and care by helping drive our clients to their appointments.

After completing her training, Nancy hit the road for her very first day last week! 🚗 We are so grateful for her willingness to serve our community and for the kindness she brings to this important role.❤️
