Before going out to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, we're reminding drivers of the dangers of drinking and driving and the importance of designating a sober driver before the party starts.

Captain James Shlehorse retires after 25 years in law enforcement…

Today, we celebrate Captain Shelhorse and his dedication to the Town of Ashland for the last 25 years. Shelhorse began his career in uniform patrol, working his way through the ranks to Captain. He has led both the patrol and investigative divisions within the agency.

We would like to thank Captain Shelhorse for his contributions throughout the years and congratulate him on his retirement. We are confident, this is not goodbye but see you later.

Later in May he will be recognized in front of Town Council but today we held a final workout with members of the agency.

Please join us in congratulating Captain Shelhorse!
