Now's the time to work on your wildfire safety projects before it gets too hot. Fire season is here!

Following our partners at ODF Southwest Oregon District, fire season restrictions begin inside the City of Ashland Oregon on Friday, May 15th. The biggest change for the public is a ban on open burning. As fire danger increases, restrictions on activities like gas-powered machinery start to kick in. Time to start checking off items on the ready list like w**d abatement, packing go bags, clearing defensible space, and making sure you're signed up for Jackson Alerts.
