When we are unable to locate a safe and stable relative for a child, we then turn to our foster parents. Foster parents give so much, a place in their home, a place in their life, and a place in their heart for a foster child. But many people feel that they are waiting for just the right time to start the process. The right season, the right year, the right month. There is no perfect time to become a foster parent!

We strive to make placements go as smoothly as possible for children. But, foster parents do the real work of helping a child get settled and get comfortable in a new place. Having a strong team of foster parents is a great way to minimize the amount of moves a child will make in foster care!
