We are looking for qualified engine bosses/crew members and CDL drivers for the 2023 fire season. At least 1 year expierence is preferred. We are a team of 3 engines, 2 water tenders and 2 dozers. We are also looking for people that are wanting to start with our brushing/general labor crew NOW that can continue on into the fire season. Being private contractors, scheduling and the amount of fire shifts are unpredictable but we try to stay as busy as possible before and during fire season (if there are no current fires) . Fire rates depend on experience

- flexible
- motivated
- professional
- valid drivers license
- valid CDL license (if applying for that position)
- ability to stay on task and work well with others
- 1+ years wildland fire experience

Full Job Description:
Brierville Fire & Forestry is hiring experienced Wildland Firefighters who are able to perform forestry work in the off-season. This is a dynamic position that will allow for stable employment year-round, as well as firefighting work during the fire season. We are looking for an individual with wildland firefighting experience as well as forestry thinning, piling and burning, and sawyer experience. Special consideration will be given to individuals who are one or more of the following: CDL Drivers, Equipment Operators, and Estimators.

Compensation:
Off season: $16-$20/hr (depending on experience)
Fire season: $18-$35/hr (depending on experience)
