Ohio Department of Transportation North Central Ohio District 3

Ohio Department of Transportation North Central Ohio District 3 District 3 serves the transportation needs of north central Ohio, including Ashland, Crawford, Erie, Huron, Lorain, Medina, Richland, and Wayne counties.

With a mission to provide a transportation system that is safe, accessible, well maintained, and positioned for the future, the Ohio Department of Transportation District 3 encompasses an eight-county region in northcentral Ohio. There are more than 4,150 lane miles of Interstate, U.S., and State Routes maintained by District 3. Our bridge inspectors monitor the conditions of 1,419 bridges annually. The District headquarters are located in Ashland.

✅The incident along SR 2 westbound was cleared around 8:15 p.m. on 9/1.
‼️ERIE COUNTY: SR 2 westbound traffic is moving slowly due to a semi fire just west of the SR 60 ramps. The incident is unrelated to the resurfacing project in that area. Emergency personnel are on scene. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route and to avoid the area. There is no estimated time as to when lanes of traffic will reopen and the incident will be cleared.

All to ensure you can reach your destination safely, even if it requires a detour. Please help keep our crews safe by moving over and slowing down for all vehicles with flashing lights.
