As you know, our very own Chief Phil Groody will be stepping down as Ashland's Fire Chief at the end of 2024. Before he steps down, we wanted to honor him and have a little fun.

On Sunday, the American Hose Company played host to the "Roast of Chief 38" - an event filled with laughter, tears, and heartfelt memories shared among Chief Groody's family, friends, and fellow firefighters.

It was truly an unforgettable day, and on behalf of Chief 38 and the members of the American Hose, we want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who helped make it possible.

Over the coming days, we will be sharing posts thanking those who contributed to the event.
