City staff came together for a community cleanup throughout the City of Ashland last Friday. It's important that we continue to take care of the place that we work, live, and play. Cleanup spanned from the far east end of town at 26th Ave E and spanned throughout the City at Maslowski Beach with stops including the Stuntz/Main Street bridge, the Corridor Trail, 6th Avenue Beach, Highway 2, Kreher Park, and the old Ellis Firestation.

Many hands make light work, and City staff will continue to prioritize beautification in our City!

Coming this Thursday to Pearson Plaza Concerts in the Park. Todd Albright with Mumblin Drew!
Todd Albright is a country blues, twelve-string guitar player and vocalist based in Detroit, Michigan. Grounded in the pre-war era of the blues tradition (1880-1939), Todd is a mindful purveyor of blues history. His repertoire upholds musical pillars such as Blind Willie McTell, George Carter, Blind Lemon Jefferson and Leadbelly. His life’s work continues the distinguished tradition of the very roots of American music as told by the African American musicians who created it.

Please join us this Sunday June 21st for International Make Music Day! All local musicians are invited to play, strum and sing acoustically within our parks, along Main Street or on your front porch.
This year our featured musicians are the Melody Lane Singers. They will be performing at Otis Park at 11am on Sunday.
Melody Lane Singers is a choir of people living with memory changes, such as dementia or Alzheimer’s, their care-partners, friends, and community members. Their mission is to create opportunities for people to connect and thrive through singing inter-generational choral music together. You are welcome to bring your voices and sing along as well!
