On Wednesday, July 8, 2026 there will be NO PARKING on Maple St, Cresswell Gardens section of the township from 0600 Hrs - 0800 Hrs to allow Pennsylvania State Police room for their detail for the services of Trooper Michael Pahira.

***NO PARKING BOTH SIDES***

Additionally, traffic will be completely shutdown to all traffic around 6:45AM between Frackville Borough and North Schuylkill Schools.

Traffic will also be shutdown around 1230PM from North Schuylkill Schools to Ashland Borough.

THESE TIMES CAN CHANGE AS THIS IS A PA STATE POLICE FUNCTION.

Butler Township Police Department will be participating in a Prescription Drug Take Back Event, Saturday, April 25th from 10am-2pm.

Residents can also drop off unwanted or unused medications at any time during business hours as there is a permanent drop off box at our station.

We would like to thank the Schuylkill Area Community Foundation for accepting our grant proposal for 2026.
The department was awarded a small grant to purchase; five hard plated body armor sets and four expandable ladders.

All equipment will be added to our patrol vehicles to standardize each one.

Thank you again for your continued support to our police department and all others!
