🇺🇸 May 2026 Raffle Recipient – Adam Dixon 🇺🇸
Please join us in congratulating our May Raffle Winner, Adam Dixon!

Adam served 25 years in the United States Navy as a Gas Turbine Systems Technician (Mechanical) from 1994–2019. Most of his career was spent in Mayport, serving aboard and repairing Frigates, Destroyers, and Cruisers. One of the highlights of his service was his four‑year tenure as Shopmaster for the Gas Turbine Shop/31T, a role he describes as one of the greatest honors of his career.

After retiring, Adam returned home to Ashtabula in 2020 and completed a nine‑month fine‑furniture program in Maine. Today, he is deeply involved in strengthening our veteran community through his work with:
– American Legion Cowle Post 151 (Conneaut)
– Erie VA Behavioral Health Council
– Behavioral Health Executive Committee
– Ashtabula Veterans Task Force leadership team

Adam likes to joke that his hobby is “collecting hobbies,” but his true passions are woodworking, community service, and supporting veterans navigating mental health challenges. His favorite way to unwind is taking long walks in the woods with his dog, Gus.

🎁 Adam’s May Raffle Package Includes:
– $25 Aldi Gift Card, donated by the 440 Browns Backers
– Four $5 Dairy Queen Gift Certificates to the DQ located at 1723 E. Prospect Rd, Ashtabula, OH 44004.
– $25 Giant Eagle Get/Go Gift Card donated by the Helping Hands Foundation of America
– $50 VISA Gift Card donated by the In Country Vietnam Vets/ In Country Veterans
– $25 Circle‑K Gift Card Ms. Lisa Colling, in memory of her parents, Dennis and Miquelina Cox of Ashtabula.
– $50 Giant Eagle Get/Go Gift Card donated by the U.S. Veterans MC Ashtabula
