Thanks to a very generous collaboration between Simak Trucking & Excavating, Inc.and the Village of Jefferson, this big dream is one step closer to becoming a reality!

It truly takes a community to bring a vision like this to life, and we are so grateful for the local partnerships making it happen. We can’t wait to watch this project take shape! 💙

Selected as one of the featured projects in Civic Development Corporation's Campaign 2025: Embrace, this innovative educational space will provide students with hands-on learning opportunities while creating a valuable community asset for years to come.

Denise, MBA, CRHCP, serves as Director of Operations and Clinical Services for University Hospitals Conneaut and Geneva Medical Centers and has been with UH for more than 11 years.

A dedicated community leader and volunteer, Denise has served on numerous nonprofit and civic boards and currently chairs the Greater Ashtabula County Chamber of Commerce. She is also an inaugural member of the Community Host Group for the Remote Area Medical clinic.

We are excited to have Denise's leadership, experience, and passion for our community on our Board of Directors. Welcome, Denise!

🎉It was truly inspiring to come together on a spring (although it felt more like fall) afternoon yesterday to celebrate and embrace the completion of the first Campaign 2025 Project during our 67th Annual Meeting!

These four pickleball courts are a direct reflection of the support, vision, and commitment of our donors and community partners. $75,000 was awarded to the park to aid in this Ashtabula County recreational asset.

Thank you for helping turn this project into a reality!

🚧 Big things are happening on Conneaut’s waterfront!

CDC is proud to support a featured 2025 Campaign Embrace Project in partnership with the Conneaut Port Authority. Through a $114,000 investment, this project will add a gravity-fed sanitary system—a key improvement that will allow for the expansion of marina space to accommodate larger vessels and strengthen economic development in the City of Conneaut.

This work is part of a broader vision to enhance the harbor, improve infrastructure, and position Conneaut as a destination for recreation, tourism, and growth. Projects like this build on ongoing efforts to expand marina capacity and attract new visitors and investment to the community.
