Fill the boot! đźš’

Tomorrow morning at the pancake breakfast there will be a boot out for donations.

As you all know we make apple cider donuts at our normal (April/October) breakfasts. Our donut machine is quite old & on its last leg. We received a generous donation towards a new machine, but it’s a little higher priced than we thought.

All donations appreciated so we can continue to make those delicious donuts at our breakfasts!

Thank you to each and everyone of you who supports us at our breakfasts 🥞🍩

Tomorrow morning! $5 minimum donation per plate! Can’t wait to see everyone!

The Ashton Fire Protection District sent some firefighters down to IFSI to train with some of the best instructors on fire ground command and vent enter search. This was a 3 day event that had some great information and great training.

We would like to give our sincere condolences to Harlem Roscoe Fire Protection District, as they mourn the loss of one of their own. The men and women we work with are more than just coworkers we are brothers and sisters. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at home and at his station.

It is an honor that we get to put out flags at the Ashton Cemetery for the Memorial day Ceremony.

Today, the Ashton Fire Protection District pauses to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Memorial Day is more than the beginning of summer — it is a day of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance for those who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the freedoms we hold dear.
We remember the fallen, we stand beside their families, and we carry forward their legacy of courage, duty, and selfless service.

From all of us at the Ashton Fire Protection District, we wish our community a safe and meaningful Memorial Day as we honor America’s heroes who will never be forgotten..

CHANGE OF PLANS :

Due to the forecasted rain coming this way, we are changing things up. We will now be putting a handful of flags out Monday morning at 7am & taking them down at 3pm. We will still take a few helpers if you’re willing (maybe a few students who need the impact/silver chord hours).
Please message our page if you’d like to help. We don’t want to get too many people. If you’re able to help, please meet at the Mills & Petrie @ 6:30 am on Monday. (Or at 3 pm if you’re able to help take down)

Thank you!!
