🐾💉 FREE RABIES VACCINATION CLINICS ARE COMING UP! 💉🐾

The Chautauqua County Health Department, in partnership with the Town of Ripley, Chautauqua County Humane Society, The Pet Pantry, and Lakeshore Humane Society, will host four free rabies vaccination clinics to help protect dogs, cats, and ferrets, as well as the community, from this fatal disease.

A few things to know:

✔️ Dogs, cats, and domesticated ferrets 3 months of age and older are eligible.
✔️ Pre-registration is required.
✔️ Bring your pet's previous rabies vaccination records.
✔️ Dogs must be on a leash. Cats and ferrets must be in individual carriers.

Town of North Harmony Board Vacancy

The Town of North Harmony is seeking a qualified resident to fill a vacancy on the Town Board.

The appointed individual will serve for the remainder of the vacant term, ending December 31, 2027. At that time, the position will be subject to election.

Ideal Candidate

Applicants should:
• Be a resident of the Town of North Harmony
• Be community-oriented and committed to serving local residents
• Demonstrate leadership skills and sound judgment
• Have knowledge of, or a strong willingness to learn, New York State Open Meetings Law
• Have knowledge of municipal budgets and budget processes
• Be willing to actively participate in Town Board meetings, discussions, and community matters
• Be committed to working collaboratively for the benefit of the Town and its residents
Meeting Schedule

Town Board meetings are held the second Monday of each month, with additional meetings scheduled as needed.

This is an opportunity to become directly involved in the future of the Town of North Harmony and help make a positive difference in our community.

Interested residents are encouraged to submit a letter of interest outlining their qualifications, community involvement, and interest in serving on the Town Board.

UPCOMING Town of North Harmony – Town Board Vacancy

Letters of Interest Accepted

The Town of North Harmony is seeking qualified applicants for an upcoming Town Board position. This is an elected seat, however the individual selected will be appointed until December 31, 2027, when the seat will be filled at the next election.

We welcome community-minded residents who are interested in helping guide town priorities, supporting local services, and working collaboratively with fellow board members.

Position Background / Responsibilities (Town Board)
Town Board members work with the Town Supervisor and other board members to help oversee and make decisions that may include:

*Setting and monitoring the town’s budget and priorities
*Considering local policies, ordinances, and resolutions
*Participating in town planning and community development discussions
*Addressing constituent concerns and supporting effective town operations
*Working with town staff, departments, and community partners
