🚧 Construction Update – Park Street Closure 🚧

As construction begins on Ashville's new Water Treatment Plant, the contractor will start moving equipment onto the site on Tuesday, August 11. With that being said, beginning Tuesday, August 11, Park Street will be closed from the north side of the alley to E. Station Street for the duration of the project. The alley leading to Gary Street will remain open, but there will be no through traffic north of the alley.

Please plan an alternate route and use caution around the construction area. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we invest in critical infrastructure that will serve our community for years to come.

📢 Parks Committee Meeting – Monday, August 10 at 6:00 PM

The Village of Ashville Parks, Recreation, & Planning Committee will meet on Monday, August 10, at 6:00 PM. One of the agenda items includes a presentation from Matt Leasure of Designing Local, Ltd. regarding a proposed park design plan. We invite residents to attend and stay informed as we continue planning for the future of our parks.

☀️🚓🚒 Fun in the Sun wraps up with our biggest day yet—Public Safety Day! 🚑🚁

Join us on Thursday, August 6, from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM at Ashville Community Park for a fun-filled morning with the heroes who serve our community every day!

Come check out police cruisers, fire trucks, ambulances, helicopters, and meet local first responders. It's a great opportunity for kids and families to explore emergency vehicles, ask questions, and learn about public safety in a hands-on way.

🍔 Kids will receive a free fry. Parents can purchase other food items. Food will be provided by Mama's Burger Bites, and all participating first responders will receive a meal ticket as a small thank-you for your service.

Bring the whole family—we can't wait to see you for an exciting morning of fun, learning, and community! 🚔👮🚒👨‍🚒🚑
