📢 Village Office Closure Notice

The Village of Ashville offices will be closed on Friday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.

Regular office hours will resume on Monday, June 22 at 8am. We wish everyone a safe and meaningful holiday as we recognize and celebrate this important day in our nation's history.

TRAFFIC UPDATE: Circleville Avenue (Viking way) is closed between E. Station St and Glenn Rd for water main tie-in. It should be opened nightly until work is completed. Follow detour during the day. Please reach out with any questions pertaining to this road closure.

⚠️ RESIDENT NOTICE ⚠️

The Village of Ashville has been made aware that an individual named Jaroslav, a university student from Estonia, is currently going door-to-door within the village limits.

Jaroslav has informed the Village and is legally authorized to conduct door-to-door sales. According to the information provided, he is representing Southwestern Advantage and is offering educational books, study guides, and educational applications for children of various ages, including materials related to preschool readiness, elementary education, and SAT/ACT preparation.

Please note:
• The Village of Ashville does not endorse, recommend, or guarantee any products or services being offered.
• Jaroslav is not affiliated with Ashville schools or the Village of Ashville.
• Residents are under no obligation to answer the door, engage in conversation, or make a purchase.
• If you have a "No Soliciting" sign posted, solicitors are expected to respect it.

Jaroslav wanted us to share that he may be driving a White & Red Honda and has an accent. This post is being shared solely to keep residents informed about door-to-door activity occurring within the community.
