The Askov city council has and will continue to support the continuation of the Askov Rutabaga Festival. Recently questions regarding ownership and insurance have surfaced. We are working in conjunction with the fair board to come to a resolution. The issue is complicated but be assured that we will find a solution. The Askov Rutabaga Festival will continue to be the best little fair for years to come!

"Water Connections" Poetry Contest - Information, rules & forms
*Presented by the Pine County Historical Society & Pine County 4-H
*Deadline is September 30, 2016!
*One winner will receive $50 & have their poem enlarged & displayed alongside the Smithsonian "Water Ways" display & have the opportunity to read their submission at a Poetry Slam on October 16th at 3pm at the Pine County History Museum in Askov, MN.
*The top 10 entries in each age bracket will be printed in a booklet for display at school libraries, community libraries, and other community businesses throughout Pine County.
