Good evening Aspen! A few flakes Saturday night and Sunday but no big deal. So here's the deal friends , the rest of November looks awful in terms of snow around here! We have a blocking pattern going on and this is not good for any snowstorm consistency ! It kills me!! I'm upset! Kind of sucks that I can see the future. So let us pray for a change in this blocking pattern. So let's stay positive and hope for big POW in December! If I see something you will be the first to know!! Extended Forecast: (Updated 520pm) Just an FYI. The European model is leading the way compared to all the other models concerning the extended period into next week. I think what is going to happen is a ridge builds in the pacific at 145 degrees West. We use a thing called teleconnections to determine what will happen with the weather when there is a ridge out at 145West in the pacific. Teleconnections are very good for snow in the Rockies when there is a ridge at that location. There is hope that things may actually turn snowy in the not too distant future. http://aspenweather.net/
