Pitkin County Regional Emergency Dispatch Center We dispatch Pitkin County Sheriff, Aspen, Basalt & Snowmass Village Police, Fire & Ambulance; along with Carbondale Fire & Ambulance.

We are an emergency services dispatch center answering 911 calls and non emergent calls for all of Pitkin County. Serving a permanent population of over 17,000 covering over 1000 sq miles, we dispatch 57,000 calls for service per year. We are proud to serve as the essential link between four law enforcement agencies, five fire/EMS agencies, search and rescue and our citizens.

Don’t be alarmed if you see increased emergency activity on the east side of the airport, near the FBO hangar. You may see first responders, emergency vehicles, ambulances traveling to and from AVH and volunteers role playing as injured patients on Saturday, June 13 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
***This is a training exercise. Please do not call 911 to report exercise-related activity. Emergency services will remain fully operational during the training.

The Aspen/Pitkin County Airport parking lots are currently FULL and will be closed until space becomes available. We strongly recommend seeking alternative transportation to the airport; have someone drop you off, utilize RFTA, or schedule a taxi. Please check the ASE Website Parking Page for updates.
