We're so excited for the Easter Bunny and Egg Hunt this Saturday - we hope to see you there!
The Easter Bunny will be arriving at 1:45 to kick off the hunt and we'll have face painting, music and crafts for some Springtime fun.
If you have children who would like to participate in the egg hunt please register them using the link below so we can let the bunny know to bring enough eggs!

Thank you for your support Senator Rodrigues!

What a great way to start our work week! This morning our Acting Executive Director Dave Slatery and Senior Director of Public Affairs Bethann Steiner had the opportunity to sit down with Senator Mike Rodrigues, Chair of Senate Ways & Means and his staff team. The Chair has always been a stalwart supporter of arts and culture, both on Beacon Hill and in his First Bristol & Plymouth District - which includes Fall River and surrounding communities.

Thank you for the opportunity to discuss Mass Cultural Council's FY27 budget and policy priorities, Mr. Chairman, and thank you for being a champion in the State House!

Some details for this evening’s tree lighting at the Assonet Bandstand…

✔️ The event starts at 4:30pm
🎶 The George R Austin Intermediate School 4th and 5th grade choir will be performing at 5pm
🎅🏼 Santa will be arriving at 5:30pm to illuminate the tree and meet and take photos with kids
☕️ There will be hot cocoa, coffee and donuts to enjoy
🎨 There will be music, a children’s craft tent and face painting
🧸 Freetown Police Association will be there collecting new, unwrapped toys for their Stuff a Cruiser drive

Join us one week from today for the Annual Tree Lighting at the Assonet Bandstand 4:30-7pm! 🎄

The Freetown Police Association will be there collecting new unwrapped toys for their “Stuff a Cruiser” toy drive! 🧸

The George R Austin Intermediate School Choir led by Mr Duff will be performing holiday carols at 5pm. 🎶

And Santa will be catching a ride with the Freetown Fire Department to come by to light the tree and meet with kids! 🎅🏼

We’ll also have refreshments courtesy of Dunkin Donuts and a children’s craft tent! ☕️

EGG HUNT DATE CHANGE

Hello!
Unfortunately, it looks as though the forecast isn't going to work in our favor this year.
We have decided to move the event to our rain date Sunday 4/13.
The Egg Hunt will start around 1:30 and the Easter Bunny will taking pictures in a tent with face painters and crafts if you just want to come by for a picture and some fun.
We hope to see you there and let's hope for sunshine next year!

The Easter Egg Hunt will be held at Freetown Elementary School at 43 Bullock Rd. We apologize for the change of venue again!

Also, we're keeping an eye on the forecast and will announce if we're moving to the rain date of Sunday 4/13 by Friday morning.
