Penn-Delco School District Located in Southeastern PA, Penn-Delco is a public school district serving Aston Township, Brookhaven, and Parkside in Delaware County.

We educate over 3,000 K-12 students across four elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. The Penn-Delco School District embodies excellence in education. The Pennsylvania Department of Education has honored the District for achieving district-wide Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) standards for eight consecutive years. Penn-Delco is located in Southeastern Pennsylvania approximately 15 miles southwest of Philadelphia. The district encompasses Brookhaven and Parkside Boroughs and Aston Township. Approximately 3,300 students are enrolled in grades Kindergarten through 12. The district comprises six schools:

PLAY BALL, PENN-DELCO! ⚾

After three full days of in-service, we officially opened the 2026-2027 school year yesterday with an Opening Day celebration worthy of the big leagues! 💙💛

More than 500 Penn-Delco employees came together to welcome our newest “rookies,” celebrate colleagues marking milestone years of service, and get ready for another great season together.

The morning began on a beautiful note with Sun Valley seniors Lucy Esposito and Amaya Howard performing the National Anthem, and featured plenty of baseball-inspired fun, including walk-up songs, a ceremonial first pitch, mascot madness, friendly competition and a few surprises along the way.

We were also thrilled to welcome the original Phillie Phanatic, Dave Raymond, as our keynote speaker. Dave brought his energy, humor and unforgettable stories to Penn-Delco while sharing a memorable message about the power of fun.

The lineup is set. The team is ready. The 2026-2027 season starts now! ⚾

Congrats to the 71 students who recently earned AP Scholar recognition from College Board. With an average AP Scholar score of 3.74 - the highest in the past five years - our students continue to demonstrate dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence. Five Sun Valley band students recently returned from an unforgettable 20-day performance tour through Europe with American Music Abroad!

From June 20 through July 10, the students performed in seven concerts across six countries: Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, and France. The group included talented musicians from schools throughout Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, and Lancaster counties and was directed by current and retired area band directors.

For more than 30 years, SV students have participated in this international musical experience, representing their school and community while sharing their talents with audiences around the world.

If your student plans to participate in athletics at Sun Valley High School or Northley Middle School this school year, a PIAA Physical Evaluation (dated after May 1, 2026) is required before participation.

Students participating in additional sports during the same school year must also complete and submit Section 7 before the start of each subsequent season.
