🏠✨ Exciting News from Columbia Inn!

We are beyond thrilled to share that our kitchen renovation is complete — and what a transformation it is! We now have a fully equipped commercial kitchen capable of feeding 100 people per day, serving both our Columbia Inn shelter and our neighbors at Esperanza. This is a game-changer for our community.

A heartfelt thank you to Re*****on for having the vision to make this renovation a reality. Your belief in our mission and your commitment to our community means more than words can express. 💙

We also want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to our incredible Board Members. You don’t just understand the mission of CCA — you elevate it. Your guidance, your dedication, and your unwavering support make every milestone like this one possible. We are so fortunate to have leaders who show up not just in the boardroom, but in every life we touch.

And to our amazing Columbia Inn staff — you are the true heroes of this story. For over a month, without a kitchen, you never once stopped feeding the people who depend on us. Day after day, you fired up the grill outside and kept going — not a single day missed. That kind of dedication is rare and beautiful, and we are so proud of every one of you.

This kitchen is more than a renovation. It’s a symbol of what’s possible when a community comes together with heart, resilience, and purpose.

A free Free Dental Van Clinic will be held in Astoria on Monday, June 15 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at Clatsop Community Action (364 9th St., Astoria). The clinic will accept walk-ins only and is first-come, first-served, with limited capacity. Interpreters will be available.

What an incredible day at the Clatsop County World Cup of Food soccer tournament! ⚽🌎🍽️

Today was a huge success filled with amazing soccer, community spirit, and so many smiling faces — all to benefit the Clatsop Community Action Regional Food Bank.

Thank you to all the volunteers, teams, referees, vendors, and families who came out and made this event so special. Your hard work, energy, and support helped bring our community together for a great cause.

A very special thank you goes to Dan and Mary Gaffney for the countless hours, dedication, and passion you put into organizing this wonderful event. Your vision and leadership made the first World Cup of Food an unforgettable experience for our community.

⚽🌎 Join us for the FIRST EVER Clatsop County “World Cup of Food” on May 16! 🌎⚽

Come cheer on teams from across the community while supporting a great cause at this colorful and FUN fundraiser benefiting Clatsop Community Action’s Regional Food Bank!

📍 Location: LCYSA Soccer Fields – Ridge Road, Warrenton🕘 Games begin at 9:00 AM on 8 fields⏰ New games start every hour until 2:00 PM

Teams will compete in 5 divisions ranging from grades 3–5 all the way to adults 30+ — with each team proudly wearing different colored shirts featuring the event logo!

🥫 Fans and players are encouraged to bring:• Non-perishable food donations• Monetary donations for Clatsop Community Action

CCA will have a truck onsite collecting donations throughout the event.

Bring your family, friends, and community spirit for a day of soccer, fun, and giving back! ❤️⚽

We are excited to partner with North West Housing Authority to create a safe, comfortable, and supportive place that individuals can truly call home.
