A huge thank you to Lums for once again hosting our Veterans Breakfast!

Last Thursday, more than 56 veterans gathered for breakfast, meaningful conversation, and time together.

We are incredibly grateful to Lums’ Warrenton dealership for its continued generosity and support of our local veterans. It’s always wonderful to see so many familiar faces—and welcome some new ones too!

Thank you, Lums, for making these special mornings possible, and thank you to all the veterans who joined us. We look forward to seeing everyone again next month! ❤️🤍💙

As Hunger Action Month comes to an end, a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered, donated, and supported the CCA Regional Food Bank throughout the year. 💚

Your generosity helps provide food for neighbors facing food insecurity. Whether you donated, volunteered, or spread the word, you are part of this important work.

Hunger doesn’t end in September, and neither does our commitment to our community. Thank you for continuing to support CCA and help make a difference. 💚

All donations stay local and assist Clatsop County residents with food assistance.

Thanks for the support and thanks to the Chef Store for being such a good friend and champion for the Regional Food Bank.

The spaghetti squash are getting close! 🎃

In our first season growing spaghetti squash, we've been excited to watch the crop thrive. Harvest is likely about a month away, and hundreds of squash are expected to be ready.

Every squash harvested will be distributed to the community in a single day.

September is Hunger Action Month 💚

No one in our community should have to choose between putting food on the table and paying for housing, utilities, medicine, or other basic necessities.

Throughout September, Clatsop Community Action’s Regional Food Bank joins food banks across the country in recognizing Hunger Action Month—a time to raise awareness about hunger and remind our community that together, we can make a difference.

Every day, our Regional Food Bank works alongside our local food pantries and community partners to make sure our neighbors have access to nutritious food when they need it most.

Hunger can affect anyone—a family going through a difficult month, a senior living on a fixed income, a veteran, or someone who simply needs a little help getting back on their feet. There is no shame in asking for help.

This September, we invite you to take action. Donate food, volunteer, support your local food pantry, share information about available resources, or simply help us spread the word.

🧡 Together, we can fight hunger and strengthen our community—one neighbor, one family, and one meal at a time.
