Voting is convenient and easy for eligible Oregonians.

Return your ballot by 8 p.m. Your best option is to use a secure, official drop box. Find one near you at oregonvotes.gov/dropbox.

You can also take your ballot directly to your county elections office or go to a Post Office and ask for a manual postmark.

Oregon, today marks one week from the Primary Election and the last day to mail your ballot worry free. With recent changes to the Post Office, we would recommend returning your ballot by dropping it off at an official drop box or returning it to your county elections office after today.

Clatsop County leaders recently traveled to Washington, D.C. to advocate for key local priorities—from levee improvements and emergency preparedness funding to habitat conservation and critical infrastructure.

Chair Mark Kujala and Vice Chair Courtney Bangs met with federal agencies and Oregon’s congressional delegation to push forward projects that support the safety, resilience, and future of our communities.

On March 13, 2026, a large landslide occurred at milepost 2 on Walluski Loop, impacting the shoulder of the southbound lane.

The roadway has been reduced to one lane, and temporary traffic signals are in place to safely direct traffic.

These signals operate on a sensor-based timer. Please stop at the white line marked “STOP HERE ON RED” so your vehicle can be detected.

While the wait may feel long, the signal is set to change after approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds.

The 2026 Clatsop County Fair returns July 22-25, and this year brings something the community has waited years to see again. The rides are back! 🎡
Rainier Amusements will fill the midway with rides, games, and bright carnival lights all four days of the fair.

🌟Friday night (July 24) turns up the volume with our outdoor Fair Concert featuring country artist, Kameron Marlowe with special guests The Kruse Brothers opening the show. Grab your boots, bring your friends, and get ready for a night of live country music. Tickets are on sale now!

🐖Along with the concert and carnival, you will find livestock shows, youth exhibits, agricultural displays, vendors, community competitions, and live entertainment across the grounds.
