The department members provide fire suppression, fire prevention, rescue, and non-transport medical services to the community. The Atalissa Fire Department is a 16 member volunteer department that provides emergency services to the residents of Atalissa and the surrounding area. The Atalissa Fire Department proudly protects approximately 1,350 people in a 49 square mile area. This area includes pa

rt of Muscatine and Cedar county, several hundred acres of state and county public access, several miles of I-80, and parts of Iowa, Goshen, Pike, and Moscow townships. The Atalissa Fire Department responds to approximately 85 calls each year. The Atalissa Fire Department has the ability to call additional personnel and equipment from fire departments in surrounding communities through the use of mutual aid agreements.

Join us June 27th at the Atalissa Fire Department for a night of great music, food, and community as we celebrate our Hometown Heroes!

🎸 Live Music Starts at 8PM featuring:

🔥 FaceCarver – QC Rock Academy’s youngest hard-rock band and 2025 Battle of the Bands Division 2 winners, bringing a high-energy metal show that’s been rocking venues across the Quad Cities.

🔥 7 Ark – A high-energy youth band playing rock hits from the ’70s through the early 2000s. Three-time Battle of the Bands winners with original music streaming everywhere.
