ALF Food Pantry (aka Atascadero Loaves & Fishes) is a non-profit, all-volunteer food pantry located at 5411 El Camino Real in Atascadero, CA. We provide groceries to those who live in our service area (Atascadero, Templeton, Creston, Santa Margarita, & California Valley). We welcome community support from those who would like to volunteer or make donations.

Did you know there is an easy way you can donate much needed food to our ALF Food Pantry.
We help the food insecure in our areas of Templeton, Creston, California Valley, Atascadero and Santa Margarita. We distribute nutritious food to all those in need.

Behind every bag of groceries is a neighbor, a student, or a parent who is working hard to make ends meet. Today, we’re seeing more families than ever turn to the ALF Food Pantry to bridge the gap between paychecks.

Rising costs shouldn’t mean empty plates. Whether it’s fresh produce or pantry staples, these resources are a lifeline for our local families.

Our very own Tim Eckles, president of the Board of Directors, is Atascadero’s Citizen of the Year and to honor his vision and dedication for the new ALF Food Pantry location, anonymous donors are launching the “Help ALF Open Its New Doors” campaign.

💰 The Goal: $50,000
🤝 The Deal: Every donation starting March 27 will be MATCHED dollar-for-dollar.

All funds go directly toward updating our new facility at 7380 El Camino Real to better serve our community.

A massive thank you to the Atascadero Rotary Club for choosing ALF as the beneficiary of the 2026 Crab Feed proceeds!

It was a night of delicious food and even better company, but the real magic is what happens next. These funds will go directly towards ensuring our neighbors have access to fresh, nutritious food.

When life gives you lemons... well, in Atascadero, we’ll take the oranges! 🍊

Our amazing volunteers were out in the sunshine this week, and their hard work really “peeled” off. They harvested a staggering 160 POUNDS of fresh oranges for the ALF Food Pantry!

There is nothing quite like fresh, local citrus to brighten up our neighbors’ grocery bags. A massive thank you to the volunteers who climbed ladders and filled crates to make this happen. You are the “zest”! 🌟
