It’s a busy Monday already at the VFW! Thanks to the abundant generosity of a Veteran donor, our Post and Auxiliary were able to coordinate a distribution of fresh fruit, bread, and vegetables to ALF! Teamwork makes the Dream Work! 🥰

Are you an annual member of the VFW Auxiliary? If so there are some changes you need to know about. New membership cards will no longer be mailed out yearly. Now, when you renew your membership you can either log in to Malta and print a single sided card or snap a pic and save it for n your phone. Check out the flyer for a guide on how to do this. At VFW Auxiliary National Headquarters, we have received a number of questions recently about VFW and VFW Auxiliary scholarships and contests. There is some confusion about which scholarships and contests "belong" to which organization, so we've created this quick, handy guide to help keep it all straight!

VFW Auxiliary scholarships for high school students include the Young American Patriotic Art Contest and 3-Dimensional Art Contest. Find more information about these on our website, here: https://vfwauxiliary.org/what-we-do/scholarships-2/

The VFW Auxiliary Continuing Education Scholarship for members and their immediate family can be found here: https://vfwauxiliary.org/scholarships/continuing-education/

While we do promote the Voice of Democracy and Patriot's Pen as part of our Scholarships Program, these are VFW scholarships. If you have questions about them, please reach out to them directly. Wow! You all came out and showed up tonight in full support! What an amazing community to be a part of. 100% of proceeds and all of the tips from dinner tonight went toward Katrina’s next mission as an Honor Flight Guardian. Because of your generosity, we raised $649 in one dinner service! Absolutely Amazing! Thank you all from the depths of our hearts for supporting any Veteran services! Another successful day at the 223rd brigade luncheon. I wish I had gotten pics of all of us and the supremely amazing food! It’s such an honor to support our local brigade and have the opportunity to spend time with all the soldiers. 🇺🇸♥️🤍💙🥰
