Today, the Waterford Township Fire Department was presented a pallet of water from Anheuser-Busch as a recipient of a grant administered by NVFC. The Fire Department will be sharing the water with Waterford EMS, mutual aid agencies and the NJFFS. This water will be used to hydrate emergency responders during extended emergencies. Thank you for this grant award!

The Waterford Township Fire Department would like to congratulate our latest Firefighter 1 / Firefighter 2 recruits for successfully completing the rigorous Fire Academy at Camden County College. Firefighters Bruce Stanton, Cole Regn, Charlie Taylor and Kaylin Davis completed over 200hrs of classroom and hands on training to earn their NJ State Firefighter 1 and Firefighter 2 Certifications.

Tonight, Waterford Township Fire Department hosted the Wildland Structual Protection Class for the Camden County Wildland Strike Team and Task Force. The training was provided by the NJ Division of Forest Fire, a program designed to educate the fire service on the Structural Fire Protection needed from Municipal Fire Departments during large scale Wildland fire incidents.

Waterford Township residents, please utilize caution in the area of the Old Atco Raceway while on Jackson Road. Road conditions are deteriorating due to wind pushing the snow/ice onto the roadway. Camden County PW is on location with a plow and salt.
