The Winslow Township School District is a vibrant, growing PreK-12 school system with approximately 4,500 students, located in Camden County, New Jersey and conveniently located midway between Philadelphia and Atlantic City. More than 700 certified, professional and support staff meet the educational, developmental and social needs of a diverse student population. Parents and community members enthusiastically volunteer their time as members of Home and School Associations and serve on many of the committees which assist our schools in serving the student population and implementing new and exciting educational programs. Winslow Township Schools offer a wide range of programs for students; from services for the physically or developmentally disabled child to age-appropriate instruction, support and activities for the average child as well as a challenging curriculum for the high achiever. The District provides a comprehensive curriculum that begins with a unique preschool program for four-year-olds and continues until their high school graduation.

We have been busy at School No. 2 for the past few weeks! 🎉📚💛

🌎 Hispanic Heritage Month

From September 15 to October 15, we celebrated this year's theme, Unidos, Somos Mástheir (Together, We Are More). Every morning, students heard a new Word of the Day on the morning announcements from thier classmates, and we wrapped up the month with some amazing student projects. Take a look at the creativity!

🤝 Week of Respect

Respect was the star of the week from 10/5 - 10/9! Students learned why respect matters through social emotional learning and character education. Each of our five themed days brought spirited dress-up and a daily Kindness Challenge. A big thank you to our school counselor, Ms Perez, for leading our daily announcements!

📖 Scholastic Book Fair

We also had our first Book Fair of the year, which was a huge success! Thank you to our wonderful Winslow Township School 2 PTA for making it such a success. Happy reading, everyone!

💛 A Special Finish

We closed out Week of Respect with a visit from Mr. Pease, who read How to Apologize and Wildflower to our kindergarten and first grade classes. Little listeners, big lessons!

Today, we celebrated our amazing leaders at the Winslow Township School District with a special surprise lunch! 🥗🍽️

We wanted to take a moment to show our appreciation for everything they do for our district each and every day. Their dedication, hard work, leadership, and continued support make a difference for our students, staff, and school community.

Mrs. Miller's Honors Algebra students have been putting their math skills to the test! From solving absolute value equations to exploring geometric transformations, including translations, reflections, and rotations, our students are taking learning to the next level! 📊✏️

Through hands-on activities, students are strengthening their problem-solving skills while exploring coordinate grids, geometric rules, and angles.

Students and staff at Winslow Township School 6 had a blast celebrating Twin Day by teaming up and dressing alike! From matching outfits and colors to creative looks, everyone showed off their school spirit and had plenty of fun along the way. 🦅✨

🍪✨ Filling Our Cookie Jar with Kindness! ✨🍪

Ms. Campolongo’s Kindergarten class is learning that positive choices are worth celebrating! 💚 Students work together to earn wooden cookies for their “Class Cookie Jar” by following directions, trying their best, showing kindness to themselves and others, and helping keep their classroom safe.

After filling their first cookie jar, the class earned a fun glow-themed movement celebration! 🌟 Students enjoyed teacher-led brain breaks and activities with glow wands and even received glow bracelets to take home.

Now, they’re already working together to fill their next jar and earn another special class reward! 🎉

Way to go, Kindergarten! We love seeing our youngest Eagles learning about kindness, teamwork, responsibility, and positive behavior! 🦅💚
