The week of March 2nd, we did not meet the standard of excellence our customers in East Limestone County expect, nor the standard we expect of ourselves. To provide relief to those affected, we will apply a $20.00 account credit to the accounts in the impacted area. Customers do not need to take any action to receive the credit; it will appear as a line item on the bill labeled “home flush credit.” This credit covers 2,500 gallons of water.

We sincerely apologize for the impact on our customers.

Public Notice: Temporary Water Discoloration

We are currently receiving reports of discoloration in the water in the East Limestone portion of Limestone County. We are actively flushing all lines in these areas to correct the issue. We ask your patience with this process. We will post any updates as they are received.

LCWSA crews are currently undertaking flushing operations on water distribution lines in the East Limestone area due to the activation of a new line, which may stir up natural sediment.
