Hard hats weren’t required… but learning definitely was! 👷📚MCEF, with the help of United Way of McMinn and Meigs Counties and The George R. Johnson Foundation, were excited to sponsor an OSHA 10 training class at the Justice Center, giving participants the chance to build workplace safety skills and earn a valuable certification along the way. From safety basics to real-world knowledge, it was an opportunity of learning, growth, and development. We’re proud to support programs that help open doors for future careers and success!

McMinn County Government offices will be closed Monday, February 2 out of an abundance of caution and in consideration of the public’s and our employees’ safety.

While most main roads are clear, many rural county roads still have considerable ice coverage. This is unlikely to improve with the extremely cold temperatures predicted this evening. All offices will reopen Tuesday, February 3.
