Athens Graduation Information
π ATHENS AREA HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION INFORMATION π The Athens Area School District is excited to celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2026! To help ensure a safe and enjoyable graduation experience for all guests, please review the following important information regarding traffic, parking, and event access. π Graduation Ceremony π
June 5th, 2026 πΎ Athens Alumni Stadium π Gates Open at 5:00 PM π Ceremony Begins at 7:00 PM π§ Road Closure Information Pennsylvania Avenue will be closed to all traffic beginning at 6:00 PM and will remain closed until the conclusion of the graduation ceremony. Please plan accordingly and allow extra travel time. π
ΏοΈ General Parking General parking will be available at the following locations: β
Athens Area High School Parking Lots β
Harlan Rowe Middle School Parking Lots β
Lynch-Bustin Elementary School Parking Lots β
Available parking on and around Second Street and Third Street within the Borough of Athens Guests are encouraged to arrive early due to anticipated traffic and parking demands. βΏ Handicap Parking Information Handicap parking will be available beginning at 5:00 PM behind Athens Area High School. Please note the following: βοΈ Only vehicles displaying a valid handicap parking placard or handicap license plate will be permitted access to the handicap parking area behind the high school. βοΈ Handicap parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. βοΈ Once the designated handicap parking area reaches capacity, vehicles displaying valid handicap credentials may enter the area to drop off passengers but must then exit and park at another available parking location. βοΈ Security will do their best to accommodate patrons. β° Arrival Reminder πͺ Gates will open at 5:00 PM.
