The Aging and Disability Resource Center is a collaborative effort of the Administration on Aging and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services designed to streamline access to long term care. The Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) is the phone line that gives you access to information on local human services for older adults or disabled persons. onnection, a program within the Northeast Georgia Area Agency on Aging, provides information and referrals to services and resources that assist older adults and disabled individuals to age in place within their communities. Trained, caring professionals are ready to listen and provide service from a person-centered approach. Whether you need information on your parents, a disabled individual (child/adult), or yourself, the ADRC works with Community Connection (211) to put you in touch with for-profit and non-profit providers of services for older adults and disabled consumers. Grab your eWIC card and stop by to get fresh fruit and veggies from local farmers! You can also talk with a Public Health representative about lead safety, check out some gently used babywear, pick up information on available area resources and much more!

WIC Farmers Market & Diaper Day
June 17 • 9am-1pm
Morgan County Health Department

The Morgan County WIC program will host a Farmers Market at the Morgan County Health Department (2005 S. Main St, Suite 200, Madison) on Tuesday, June 10 from 9 am-1pm (or until the produce is gone). WIC clients can obtain $30 worth of fresh produce at no cost (limited to $30 per FAMILY/HOUSEHOLD per season). Amerigroup will be present with diapers and other information.

Remember to bring your WIC ID card. Please complete the required farmers market education module BEFORE coming to the market: https://www.gawiconline.org/
