Our first week of Mountain Bike Mini-Camp has come to an end. Man, did we have a blast with this group of kids! From large group games, trail riding, pump track sessions, learning bike parts, to a camp-wide trail race, we all can't stop smiling. We are looking forward to making more new friends next week!

Happy National Trails Day from your friends at Trails and Open Space!

We spent this weekend in the company of our wonderful volunteers! We kicked things off with a heartwarming Celebration Picnic at beautiful Sandy Creek Park and Lake Chapman and rolled right into a productive workday Sandy Creek Nature Center.

Food, fun, and hard work made for an incredible weekend. Thank you to all the volunteers who joined us. You are an essential part of our team and a huge asset to this community!

Solomon J. picked a great day for a hike at Southeast Clarke Park! Guess who he found out there on the trail? Everyone's favorite forest sprite, THE GNOME! Solomon scored a fantastic gift from our friends at Flowerland. The Gnome will be back on the trail starting June 1st. May you be the next to bring him home!

Another season of Classic City Kids Bike Club is in the books.

Over the past six weeks at Walker Park, these young riders challenged themselves on the trails, built confidence in the woods, conquered fears, formed friendships, and grew through positive mentorship and teamwork.

Classic City Kids Bike Club is about more than mountain biking. It’s about creating a space where kids can connect with nature, support one another, and discover what they are capable of.

Thanks to all the riders, families, and supporters who made this season a success.
