Mike Smith for Alabama Senate District 2 I'm Mike Smith, and I'm running for Alabama State Senate Seat 2. Hi, I'm Mike Smith and I want to represent you as your state senator in District 2.

I grew up in Decatur and graduated from Decatur’s Austin High School in 1984. I have lived in Senate District 2 since 1988. Both my father and grandfather served their communities as policemen and taught me the value of public service. I spent my career working as a firefighter until my retirement in 2009. I was blessed to be able to climb the ladder of success, provide a good life for my family a

nd realize the American dream. But I see that dream becoming harder and harder to achieve every day. I am asking you to send me to the Alabama Senate so that I can work to fix our economy and give all Alabama workers the opportunity to succeed. Thank you for your support!
