Help Us Spread Warmth

As the nights grow colder, many in our community are struggling to stay warm. We’re in urgent need of blankets , if you have a gently used blanket at home or would like to pick one up to donate, it would mean the world. Every single one helps someone stay warm, and remind them they're not alone.

Sometimes, the smallest acts of kindness mean the most. A single blanket can bring comfort, hope, and the feeling that someone cares. 💫

Are you looking for a hands-on way to help? ACC Gov and the local homeless service providers are looking for volunteers to assist ACC staff during winter weather emergencies. All volunteers must attend a mandatory training. Click the link for more information and to sign up!

This evening at approximately 5:30, a person was found unresponsive on our corner at North and Willow. Shelter staff responded quickly with naloxone and called 911. The person was transported by ambulance. We don’t have any information about the person’s condition currently. They were not familiar to shelter staff or guests.

We encourage you to lift this person, shelter staff, and guests in prayers, healing thoughts, or whatever you do for those in times of trouble. We also encourage everyone to carry naloxone and be ready to respond with urgency and compassion when someone is unresponsive.
