Casa de Amistad offers assistance and education to the Latino Community in the Athens area with ESL courses, computer lab, guitar lessons, food distribution and other social services.

📍 Tuesdays: Country Corners, 1495 US-29

Your attendance makes a big difference. Participating in the classes helps us demonstrate the impact of the program and continue receiving support and funding to keep offering these classes to our community. 🤝

We want to share important information about available Pre-K spaces for the 2026-2027 school year in the Clarke County School District (CCSD).

If your child turns 4 years old on or before September 1, 2026, they may be eligible to enroll in Pre-K.

✅ Families can complete the registration process fully online.
📍 Assistance is also available at the CCSD Student Registration Center (595 Prince Ave., Athens), Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Last week, Casa had the pleasure of participating in Ben & Jerry’s Annual Free Cone Day! 🍦

Free Cone Day is a yearly event where Ben & Jerry’s serves free ice cream all day while partnering with a local nonprofit to raise awareness. We are incredibly grateful to have been selected for this amazing opportunity.

With the help of our wonderful volunteers, we served hundreds of scoops, shared Casa’s mission, and raised support for our programs. 🧡

Thank you to Ben & Jerry’s for this partnership, to our volunteers for their energy and dedication, and to everyone who stopped by, learned more, or donated. Your support means so much! ✨
