Ohio University Pride Center News and updates from our Pride Center at Ohio University. The LGBT Center is a safe space on campus to seek assistance and support.

Dealing with discrimination, harassment, coming out concerns and relationship issues are just some of the areas where the Center can provide support and advocacy. We strive to continually improve the quality of life for LGBT people on campus and in Athens. The LGBT Center works to provide support to all students on campus. While much of our focus is on LGBT students, inclusive of those in the clos

Looking For Q***r Resources in Athens? Here are some good places to start:

Ohio University Pride Center

The Ohio University Pride Center is located on the 3rd floor of Baker University Center. It’s open to students, faculty, staff, and community members, 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday. The best way to stay up to date with them is to check their Instagram and Facebook (). They offer a variety of resources, host events, and support many LGBTQ+ student organizations and community meet ups.

Southeastern Ohio Rainbow Alliance

The Southeastern Ohio Rainbow Alliance is an organization that serves the southeastern area of Ohio. The best way to stay up to date with them is to check their Instagram () or their website (www.seoranbow.org). They offer scholarships, organize fundraisers, and collaborate with other community partners. SEORA is also known for organizing Athens Pride Fest for the past 8 years as well as Nelsonville Pride for the last 2 years.

SDQT (Sick, Disabled, Q***r, Trans) is meeting Tonight! It will be hybrid! (in person in the 1804 lounge and virtual over TEAMS) at 6:30 pm. For TEAMS link, email [email protected]

SDQT is a group for community building and celebration of LGBT disabled, deaf, neurodivergent, and chronically ill folks! All are welcome! The group meets (more or less) every other Monday.
