🚨TRAGIC: In San Diego on June 11, 2026, 12-year Marine veteran Gary Chadwick “Chad” Tillman was tragically killed while trying to help at a crash scene on northbound Interstate 15 near Highway 76.

Chad, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother who served as a Marine Drill Instructor, pulled over to assist after a drunk driver in a Honda CR-V rear-ended another vehicle. While he and another good Samaritan were helping the intoxicated driver, a second car slammed into the scene, striking and killing both helpers.

His selfless act of service cost him his life.
