The Athens Tech Foundation is thrilled to share that the Ashton Hope Keegan Foundation awarded $36,000 in 2025 towards scholarship funding to Athens Technical College students. Their foundation provides scholarships and material assistance to women pursuing a GED or technical certification training (such as phlebotomy or nursing assistant programs). We are deeply appreciative of their continued commitment to our students’ success and strengthening our community!

We’re proud to announce our two 2026 Graduation Speakers:

Dr. Alvetta Thomas, former president of Southern Crescent Technical College, will speak during our College graduation.

Judge Cheveda McCamy, Alcovy Judicial Circuit Superior Court Judge, will address our Adult Education graduates.

They are both inspiring voices who will help send off our graduates with motivation and momentum.

Graduation will be held on May 5, the college commencement at 10am, and the Adult Education and Athens Career Academy graduation at 2pm. Both graduations are being held at Akins Ford Arena.
