Are you ready to meet some amazing reptiles? On Thursday, July 30 at 10:30am, Jason Clark from Southeastern Reptile Rescue is bringing a variety of venomous and non-venomous snakes of the Southeastern U.S. and American Alligators! Learn all about these amazing reptiles, hear the crazy and very funny things that happen while operating a reptile rescue featured on their own Animal Planet TV show, and stay to take photos with exotic snakes!

Our Symphonic Storytime concert with Quintet Athens is this Sunday, July 26 at 3:00pm!!

They’ll explore the hijinks of three wandering ducks with the music of Kanazawa Yasunori, how perseverance can grow something wonderful in the Story of the Tree Seed by Danielle Rosaria, and being Golden from Kpop Demon Hunters with an arrangement by Elizebeth Joy Tong. Special guest narration by Lucy K Ralston!

It’s a lovely rainy day! Because of the weather, we are moving our Art in the Air: Kite Building event from Dudley Park to inside the library today at 10am! Come make a beautiful kite, and take it outside to play when Mr. Sun comes back out!

We’re out at Children’s Medical Services for a Back to School Celebration, helping children with complex medical conditions and their caregivers prepare for a successful start to the new school year!! I’m especially excited to remind families they already have a library card with their student’s school ID number- the PLAY Card! Can you find us at your back-to-school event? Can’t wait to see you!
