📢🚨 Outdoor Warning Siren Test – Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026

Limestone County Emergency Management will conduct the monthly outdoor warning siren test today at 9:15 a.m.

⚠️ This is only a test. No action is required.

As a reminder, outdoor warning sirens are tested on the first Wednesday of each month at 9:15 a.m., weather and operational conditions permitting.

- At 129 AM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in
Broadcast media recently reported that Church Street in Decatur
was impassable due to high water. due to thunderstorms. Flooding
is already occurring. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.

the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
