Today, we celebrate the birth of our nation and the freedoms we are so fortunate to enjoy. As we gather with family, friends, and neighbors, we're reminded that the strength of America begins in communities like ours—where people look out for one another and come together in times of celebration and need.
While many of you are enjoying cookouts, parades, and fireworks, please remember to celebrate safely. If you're using fireworks where they are permitted, follow all local laws, keep a safe distance, and always have water nearby. Never leave a grill or fire unattended, and help us keep this holiday memorable for all the right reasons.
To everyone spending the holiday with loved ones, we wish you a day filled with pride, gratitude, and great memories. And to the men and women serving in our military, our fellow first responders, and those working today to keep our communities safe—thank you for your service and sacrifice.
